Q: When you’re searching for a vacation rental home at the beach, what is the main thing you’re looking for?

A: The beach, of course! Located on the Gulf of Mexico in the panhandle’s Forgotten Coast region, you’ll find a five-mile stretch of pristine, sugar-white beaches in Mexico Beach, Florida.

Get ready to make some memories!

Leave your hectic life and your worries behind in this small town, which has no traffic lights and fewer cars. Our beaches are uncrowded, even in the summer. The family-friendly atmosphere has earned Mexico Beach the nickname, “Mayberry on the Water.”

Spend your day relaxing on the beach. Take a leisurely stroll and collect shells. Watch the shore birds without even leaving your beach chair. You might even see a pod of dolphins swimming offshore so hopefully you packed your binoculars. Stroll up the street to the family-run fish market, buy some locally caught snapper or grouper, and grill it up for dinner. Later, wander back to the beach to participate in the town’s favorite pastime – watching the sunset. Mexico Beach has some of the most beautiful sunsets on the Gulf so get your camera ready!

Things to Do

Go Fishing!

If you love to fish, you have found the right place! With canal access to the gulf, there are plenty of fish ready to take the bait.

Day Trips

Get out and explore the rest of what the Forgotten Coast has to offer. Mexico Beach is a short drive to Port St. Joe, Cape San Blas, Apalachicola, and St. George Island, just to name a few.

Places to Eat
